Description: This is a video that explains 2 techniques that can help Guile players improve. The 2 techniques are plinking and a punish combo. -Plinking is a button input technique that make 1 frames links easier to connect. This is important for all character because 1 frame links are the hardest things to connect in the game. The general theory is that plinking turns a 1 frame link into a 2 frame link, giving the player more room for error and increases combo accuracy. One thing that's good about plinking is that it not only helps you with the input but the timing. You'll often see times where you miss a plink if you have the input display on in training mode, but you will still git the combo because your hands have memorized the timing of the combo. -S.FP-FlashKick is a punish combo that Guile has. Just as the name suggest Guile cancels out his Heavy Punch and does a Flash Kick. This is the superior punish combo in Guile's arsenal and if mastered should be use in replacement of the C.MP-Flash Kick that most Guile players use to punish.
